CONFIDENTIAL
FOREIGN OFFICE, S.W.1.
31st January, 1950.
Dear Rad ford Radford,
Bu, bp.
As we agreed on the telephone I am sending you herewith a copy of a letter from His Majesty's Embassy Moscow about the two Soviet wrecks at Hong Kong.
We agree with Moscow that there is little point in their continuing to remind the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs about this, and have told them so. Can the authorities in Hong Kong devise any solution of the present stalemate?
I am copying this letter (with enclosure) to Haigh at the Ministry of Transport.
Your sincerely,
aviden
(A. E. Davidson)
R. E. Radford, Esq.,
